Most people we train didn’t choose this work. They were promoted into it, or it was added to an HR, finance or procurement role. The scorecard arrives with a verification date already in the diary.
B-BBEE and ESG are complex. You don’t learn them in one sitting; you learn them by going back to the material when a real question lands on your desk. That is what this course is for. Study at the pace your job allows, and keep the whole manual close for the moments it matters.

Calculators for Ownership and Net Value, Management Control and Skills with the EAP split, procurement, ESD, SED, YES, a GHG inventory and the carbon tax test, plus worksheets for the rest. Your figures stay on your device.
Certificates
Completion, and competence
Finish a module or a part (every section read, every review answered) for a certificate of completion. Pass the full course’s final assessment for a certificate of competence. Anyone can check either online.
Short explainer videos will be added to chapters over time. The Academy is self-study: everything you need is in the reader, the reviews and the toolkits from the first day.

Questions we’re asked.
Can we try the Academy before we buy?
Yes. The free trial runs for 7 days. Sign up with your work email, choose the B-BBEE course, the ESG course or both, and you can study one full chapter of each, with its diagrams, review questions and Ask BS Vision. You don’t need a card, a quote or a purchase order.
What isn’t included in the free trial?
The other modules and their toolkits, the final assessment, certificates and the consulting hours. When the trial ends, we keep your notes for 30 days. If your company buys a seat in that time, you carry on in the same account with your notes in place.
Who is the Academy for?
Anyone who carries B-BBEE or ESG in their job: transformation managers and champions, committee members, HR and skills development facilitators, procurement and ESD teams, finance, sustainability leads, executives and boards. No prior knowledge is assumed, but the material goes as deep as a verification file.
Is there help while I study?
Yes. Ask BS Vision, the study companion, sits inside the Academy. It answers your questions from your own course manual, shows the section each answer comes from, follows up on what you asked before, explains a section simply, finds the manual’s examples and quizzes you on what you’ve read. You can also highlight the manual and link notes to any passage. Your questions, highlights and notes stay private to you.
How do the five consulting hours work?
They come with each full course. Book time with one of our advisers when you need it, and spread the hours across the year. Single modules and parts don’t include consulting hours.
Can we take just one module?
Yes. Each chapter is a module on its own: Ownership for your deal team, Preferential Procurement for your buyers, Skills Development for your SDF, carbon tax for finance. A part groups the modules of one theme.
What happens when access ends?
The content closes, but each learner keeps their certificates and can still see their history and scores. We remind people 30, 7 and 1 day before, and your administrator can ask us to extend.
Is the certificate accredited?
No. It’s a BS Vision certificate, and anyone can check it online. It doesn’t claim SETA or QCTO accreditation. “The B-BBEE Practitioner” and “The ESG Practitioner” are the names of our courses, not a professional designation or registration.
Can our administrator track progress?
Yes. Your administrator sees who has started, which sections each person has finished, their review scores and final result, and can export a training register. They never see anyone’s private notes.
Do you keep the figures we type into the toolkits?
No. Toolkit calculations run on your own device and are never sent to us. Save your work as a file you keep, and open it again whenever you like.
